Title: Validation lab: allowing standardized in vitro and in vivo experiments for candidate treatments for Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Description: The Validation Lab was established in 2015 with support from the Duchenne Parent Project Netherlands to fill the need for an experienced and independent laboratory in DMD field. It utilizes a variety of DMD cell lines for in vitro studies and various humanized DMD (hDMD/mdx) mouse models for the in vivo experiments. The Validation lab also provides laboratory expertise, help with study design, and advanced data sciences. The Validation Lab can be used for independent confirmatory studies and for exploratory studies. It is free for Academic groups, while there is a fee for commercial partners.

Title: A Novel Approach for Site-Specific RNA Methylation Using Short Modified Oligonucleotides

Description: Post-transcriptional RNA modifications, including N1-methyladenosine (m1A), play a vital role in regulating cellular processes, encompassing both coding and non-coding RNA molecules. m1A, widespread in eukaryotic cells, influences RNA processing and its structural stability by altering its secondary structure. We are developing a novel approach employing short modified oligonucleotide sequences to achieve methylation of adenosine at the N1-position. In the forthcoming webinar, the latest advancements and findings will be presented.
