Broad Institute
“An approach to disease-agnostic therapeutic genome editing”
Biography:
Sarah Pierce is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. David Liu’s lab at the Broad Institute. She completed her PhD in Cancer Biology at Stanford University in the labs of Dr. Will Greenleaf and Dr. Monte Winslow, where she studied lung cancer metastasis and developed applications for performing CRISPR screens with a single-cell chromatin accessibility read-out. For her current and future work, she is interested in high-throughput screening of small RNAs for both therapeutic genome editing and basic biology applications.
