Speaker Biography
David Corey, Ph.D.
UT Southwestern
Medical Center at Dallas
Dr. David Corey received his BA from Harvard, and his PhD from UC Berkely under the supervision of Dr. Peter Schultz. He completed his postdoctoral studies at UCSF with Dr. Charles Craik. Currently he is a Professor at UT Southwestern, where his lab focuses on how nucleic acids and nucleic acid mimics recognize target molecules inside cells. He is the President of the OTS, an excellent resource on all things nucleic acids, and a willing conversation partner at any OTS Meeting.
