The Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society (OTS) is pleased to announce the call for applications to serve on the 2019-2020 Board of Directors, including two Trainee Representative positions.

BEING ON THE OTS BOARD OF DIRECTORS ENTAILS:
- 2-3 BOD teleconferences annually
- One face to face board meeting at the OTS Annual Meeting
- Participation on a at least one subcommittee
- Support for the society and the annual meeting, i.e. fundraising outreach, chairing a session, poster judging, etc.

THE ELECTION PROCESS:
Anyone wishing to submit an application to be nominated for the election must be a current OTS member. If you are not a current member, you must purchase or renew your membership. If you are unsure of your membership status, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Interested candidates must submit an online application, including a short biography, and a personal statement of interest. Click here for the application. Applications will be accepted through November 5, 2018.
The Nominations Committee will evaluate candidates based on their application. The Committee will put forward a list of official nominees for the ballot, which will include two nominees for each of the positions available.
The voting period will be open from November 19, 2018 – December 7, 2018. Only current members of the society are eligible to vote. Voting will be done via online ballot.
All nominees will be notified of their status within one week after the ballots close. Those who are elected to the Board of Directors will start their term on January 1, 2019.
